Two people were killed in a shooting at the Richmond Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky, officials said. The shooter, who is dead, has also been identified, but police did not release his name.

Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rand Paul released the Senate report on the anniversary of the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Five people shot in Easton late Saturday are expected to survive but aren’t cooperating with investigators, police said.

Jameshia Cheana Chavers, 33, is charged with capital murder. The Midfield woman was booked into the county jail at 1:32 p.m. Sunday and remains held without bond. Authorities have not disclosed a motive or said why the charge is a capital crime.
