The Central Jersey communities most impacted by July 14’s flash floods are rallying to support victims of the devastation.

A house exploded overnight in the flood zone in North Plainfield, New Jersey, due to an apparent gas leak. Police say the house on Parkview Avenue caught fire and exploded just before 11:25 p.m.

Flooding was particularly high in Central Jersey along the Route 22 corridor in Watchung, Plainfield and North Plainfield.
