KERRVILLE, Texas (AP) — Rescue crews in Texas kept a wary eye on river levels Monday, hoping to resume the search for people still missing from catastrophic flooding that pummeled the central part of the state earlier this month and killed at least 132 people.

More heavy rains in Texas on Sunday temporarily paused a weeklong search for victims of catastrophic flooding along the Guadalupe River and led to dozens of high-water rescues elsewhere as storms damaged homes,

Another round of heavy rain prompted crews in Texas to pause their search for flood victims. At least 132 people died during intense flooding in early July. More than 160 people are still missing.
