Authorities released a preliminary report on the Air India crash, following an investigation. The London-bound flight from Ahmedabad crashed minutes into the June 12 flight. Only one passenger of the 242 passengers and flight crew survived.

In the preliminary report into the 12 June crash, which killed 241 people on board and 19 on the ground, injuring 67 more, investigators from India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) found that the plane’s engines both had their fuel cut off moments into the flight.

The report, released on Saturday, said, the fuel switches of the crashed Boeing 787-8 plane's engines were cut off within a gap of one second, and later switched on.
