Air India has completed the inspection of fuel control switches on Boeing 787 planes with no issues being found, Indian broadcaster NDTV said on Wednesday, citing an official. Boeing and Air India did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.

Air India has completed precautionary inspections of the fuel control switch locking mechanisms across its Boeing 787 fleet and found no defects, an airline official said on Wednesday. The report revealed that fuel supply to both engines was cut off within one second of each other after takeoff.

An official also said that all the Boeing 787-8 aircraft have undergone Throttle Control Module (TCM) replacement as per the Boeing maintenance schedule.
