"I've come to realize that the 'Equalizer' films are for me, too, because they're for the people," the 'Gladiator II' actor told 'Esquire' Denzel Washington is returning for more Equalizer action. The 69-year-old actor revealed in a newly released Winter 2024 cover interview with Esquire that he will be back for not one but two films in the popular spy-thriller franchise.

In The Equalizer 2, director Antoine Fuqua gave Denzel Washington’s character a new ability he called “Equalizer Vision.” Basically, it allowed Washington’s Robert McCall to instantly find every weapon’s location in a room and know how to use it effectively.

"I told them I would do another Equalizer, and we’re doing four and five," said Washington in an interview with Esquire. Although last year director Antoine Fuqua told us that the 2023 movie marked the franchise's finale, there can always be one more mission. And it sounds like if the fans want it, Washington is more than willing to do it.
