Josh O’Connor has landed his next film role, with the actor joining the next project from legendary director Steven Spielberg.

Challengers and The Crown star Josh O’Connor has joined the cast of director Steven Spielberg ’s next big film project. O’Connor joins the previously cast Emily Blunt , Colin Firth , Colman Domingo and Eve Hewson .

As Deadline points out, it’s the first Spielberg film in quite some time positioned as a summer tentpole; his biggest films of the last two decades have tended towards the awards-bait winter holidays slot.
