"Superman" will hover over the box office again as "Smurfs" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" open in theaters.

The Movie is inching closer to passing another one of Brad Pitt's key titles on his highest-grossing films chart.

James Gunn's Superman continues its box office journey in India, accumulating approximately Rs 33.62 crore. The film earned $12.9 million on Monday and $17.1 million on Tuesday internationally, reaching $155 million in North America.

Brad Pitt has made a stunning return to the big screen, and this time, he is steering straight into one of the biggest box office wins of his career. His latest release, F1: The Movie, has overtaken some of his most iconic roles, including his Oscar-winning turn in Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

This weekend’s top 10 starts with Superman from Warner Bros./DC and ends with Materialists from A24, a romantic comedy-drama from Celine Song now in week 5. In between is populated by big guns from Universal, Disney, Sony and Paramount from a Jurassic to a Mission: Impossible amid a promised renaissance of Hollywood tentpoles.

"Superman is just the first step. Over the next year alone, DC Studios will introduce the films Supergirl and Clayface in theaters and the series Lanterns on HBO Max, all part of a bold ten-year plan," added Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav. "The DC vision is clear, the momentum is real, and I couldn't be more excited for what's ahead."

Disney's Lilo & Stitch is close to reaching the billion dollar mark at the global box office, making it the first movie to do so in 2025.

Rebirth are already on their way to emerge as global box office hits, Superman's opening has been promising, with numbers looking to go up from here.
