Digest more
The consequences of one Cyberpunk 2077 quest only came to light after a while and, depending on the decision made, could be drastic in their effects, but few know about it.
The Ultimate Edition bundles the base game, which stars Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand, with the critically acclaimed spy-thriller expansion Phantom Liberty, featuring Idris Elba as Solomon Reed. This version also includes all previously released game updates.
CD Projekt Red has teased it will be doing a deep dive into a significant update headed to Cyberpunk 2077 in a livestream scheduled for July 16.
Yep, it's available early as part of the ongoing PS Plus 15th Anniversary celebrations — and that's not all. PS Plus subscribers are being handed a 30% discount on Phantom Liberty, the game's superb 2023 expansion. That means it's down to £17.49 / $20.99 from now until the 23rd July.
And the bad news is not every recent-ish MacBook can give it a go. Cyberpunk 2077 for Mac requires 16GB of RAM. It’s the minimum spec for Macs these days, but in the last generation, base MacBook Air laptops had 8GB, and the jump to 16GB was not cheap at £200.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition requires a Mac with 16GB of unified memory and an Apple silicon chip (M1 or later). It also requires macOS 15.5 or later “for the best experience.” Following the introduction of AAA games like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Assassin’s Creed Shadows on macOS, it could herald a new era for Mac gamers.
