A York County teenager who was driving under the influence of the opioid fentanyl when a woman in another car died in a crash has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Jeffery Chase Miller, 19, of Clover, pleaded guilty Tuesday in York County criminal court to charges of DUI resulting in death and great bodily injury.

Traffic is backed up on northbound Interstate 77 for miles in York County Monday after a multi-vehicle collision near Fort Mill shut down all lanes of the highway, officials said. The crash site is near mile marker 84 south of S.C. 160. S.C. Department of Transportation cameras showed northbound backups for 5 miles through Rock Hill.
