The Oklahoma State Department of Education spent nearly $25,000 in taxpayer money to buy 500 specific high-priced Bibles for Oklahoma classrooms.

School districts in Oklahoma are pushing back on a mandate by Superintendent Ryan Walters to have Bibles in classrooms.

State Supt. Ryan Walters called for Bibles in every Oklahoma classroom. Now he has more than 500 of them and they're not cheap. FOX23 looked into how much of your
