A preliminary report into the June crash found that the plane's fuel control switches had been flipped off one by one

The Air India airliner carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members was on its way to the United Kingdom when it crashed into a building shortly after takeoff on June 12, killing all aboard, except for one survivor, and several people on the ground, according to authorities.

As investigators strive to determine the reason for a fuel cut-off switch activation which preceded the Air India Boeing 787 crash, the accident could revive calls for cockpit video to supplement cockpit-voice and flight-data recordings.
