Alan Bergman has died at the age of 99, his representative announced on Friday, July 18. Bergman and his wife and songwriting partner Marilyn wrote songs for 'The Way We Were', 'Yentl' and many more movies.

He wrote songs with his late wife, Marilyn Bergman, for more than 50 years, collaborating with the likes of Astaire, Sinatra, Streisand, Hamlisch and Legrand.
