State offers $24M to help build more EV charging stations
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that applications are being accepted for the state’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program, which will provide $24 million to build electric-vehicle charging stations. Online applications are being accepted through Dec. 17. Winners are expected to be announced in early 2025.
