SOUTH ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO/WCCO) – A West St. Paul man continues to protest atop a South St. Paul billboard along Interstate 494 and Concord Street. Felony charges have been filed against 46-year-old Matthew Becker who claims Dakota County officials have been protecting a sex offender whom two of his relatives are living with.

The man has been camped on a freeway billboard for weeks as he tries to bring attention to a beef with Dakota County. Charges say he’s been firing a slingshot at people down below.

A West St. Paul man who has been sat on top of a billboard for over a month is now facing a warrant for his arrest after shooting at employees with a slingshot. Matthew J. Becker, 46, who has been sat atop the billboard at I-494 and Concord Street in South St.

Felony charges have been filed against 46-year-old Matthew Becker who claims Dakota County officials have been protecting a sex offender whom two of his relatives are living with, and he’s staying on the billboard to protest.
