Dallas led by around 10 points for most of the fourth quarter, but the game got a little squirrelly at the end, with the Thunder scoring 10 points in the final 1:16 of the game, even having a chance to win at the end after the Mavs didn't come down with an intentionally missed free throw.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. It'll be the first matchup of the season between the two contenders. A lot of recent history between the two franchises is shared. The Thunder (11-2) are fresh off a 2024 NBA Cup win.

After a tough loss on the road their last time out, the Mavericks look much better today on their home court. They are way out in front with a 93-69 lead over the Spurs. The Mavericks entered the game with four straight defeats and they're well on their way to making it five.
