Yankees ace Max Fried may not be playing in the All-Star Game, but he wasn’t going to miss out on the opportunity for a homecoming.

Former Braves players Freddie Freeman and Max Fried are returning to Atlanta for the All-Star Game. Freeman returns as the starting first baseman for the National League while Max Fried, who already has 11 wins in his first season with the New York Yankees,

"If there was a time to get it, this is the one," Fried said. "I would love to not miss any time and be able to come back in without a problem."
