Lois Lane actor Rachel Brosnahan and Superman director James Gunn reveal they want to see Lois become Superwoman in a future DCU sequel.

In a Wired Q&A, the cast answered 50 questions about Superman lore, one of which was if Lois Lane ever gets powers (which she has multiple times). The topic sparked a conversation about whether Gunn has ever considered giving Brosnahan's take on the character a boost.

The actor tells TODAY.com about one sweet detail that paid tribute to the comic book co-creator's wife, who “inspired the original Lois Lane.”
