The woman who was attacked and killed by her own dog​ in Boston Monday night has been identified as Jeriline Brady-McGinnis.

A 73-year-old woman who was bitten by her pit bull mix in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood on Monday afternoon has died, police said Tuesday morning. The dog bit a woman and a man believed to be its owners,

Officers responded to a report of a dog attack on two people around 4:49 p.m. at 35 Dennison St., police said. Inside the residence, police found two adults, a woman and a man, suffering from injuries sustained in the attack. Police said the dog was not inside the residence at that time.
