The South Rim fire is burning on 2,892 acres with no containment and caused evacuations for the Botswick Park area southwest of the national park late Friday night.

Visitors and staff at two national parks in the U.S. West have been evacuated because of wildfires.

Fifty homes remain in an evacuation zone surrounding the fire, according to the Chaffee County Facebook page.
